Personal guidance in a supportive learning environment
People learn successfully when they can pursue their learning goals in a calm and relaxed environment. It is important to me that learners feel taken seriously, understood and encouraged.
I tailor the lessons to individual goals, using a practical, clear and well-structured approach. We exercise German conversations in typical situations from school, work and daily life. This builds confidence, a joy in speaking – and, step by step, the feeling of truly settling in Switzerland.
For me, language is the key to interaction, education and participation.
In my lessons, I combine solid subject expertise with personal commitment and a clear focus on my learners’ individual goals.
I have been working with children, teenagers and adults for many years and am very familiar with the Zurich school system and the requirements for the Gymnasium exam. Thanks to the CAS in Language Support for Adults (German as a Second Language) from the ZHAW, I can also provide professional support to adults learning German. As a lawyer, I can also offer optimal support with all matters relating to settlement and naturalisation processes. My excellent knowledge of English helps me to explain more complex content in English where necessary.
What sets me apart is my warm and open manner, my genuine interest in the people I work with, and my belief that learning can and should be enjoyable.
